I joined Mann Lawyers as a real estate and wills and estates lawyer in 2015 after completing my articles with the firm. I work closely with both Ted Mann and Heather Austin-Skaret in these service areas.
I attended Queen's University and obtained an Honours Degree in Life Sciences in 2008. During my undergraduate studies, I worked closely with a rural law firm completing transactional real estate matters. In 2010, I began working with Stephen Guest and eventually Mann Lawyers to assist with land development matters for residential subdivisions, condominiums and mixed-use properties. Starting from the ground up, this work involved everything from completing vacant land purchases to obtaining municipal approvals and finalizing real estate closings with individual buyers. In 2014, I received my J.D. with a specialization in Intellectual Property and Information Technology from the University of Western Ontario. Following my call to the bar, I was naturally drawn toward practicing real estate law.
I currently sit on the Executive Committee for the Ontario Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Division (East) and work with other lawyers in the region planning educational, social and charity events within the community. I also represent Mann Lawyers as a member of the Capital Business Association.
When I'm not working, you can find me relaxing with my husband and two dogs - most likely watching football, go Broncos! I'm also an avid runner, frequently participating in recreational events throughout the year.
