Mimi Marrello
Mimi Marello practices in the family law practice group at Mann
& Partners, LLP.
Mimi is a graduate of the University of Ottawa (B.Sc. Soc. Honours,
1996) and obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa Faculty
of Law with distinction in 1999. Mimi was called to the Bar in
Ontario in 2001.
After her call to the Bar, Mimi practised with a firm in the
east end of Ottawa. Mimi has had a broad experience in the areas
of real estate, commercial law and wills and estates. She has
focussed her practice on litigation and family law over the course
of the past three years. She has appeared before various courts
in Ottawa, Pembroke and L'Orignal in both official languages.
Mimi is a Franco-Ontarienne raised in northern Ontario. She
is fluently bilingual and offers her services in both French
and English.
Mimi has participated and written a paper on costs for the Annual
Family Law Institute in 2006. She is a member of the County of
Carleton Law Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
In the past, Mimi has been active with many legal assistance clinics.
Outside of work, Mimi is busy with her two young girls and is
a member of her daughters' school council.
