Administrative Law
In addition to the traditional courts, our legal system is comprised
of numerous administrative decision-making bodies, all of whom
make decisions which affect individuals and business. These administrative
bodies may be quasi-judicial tribunals, such as the Rental Housing
Tribunal or the Labour Relations Board, or they may be less formal
decision-making bodies such as an academic discipline committee
at a university or a sub-committee of City Council.
We can help clients with administrative law issues, such as professional
discipline, academic discipline, and other situations where statutory
authorities such as universities, hospitals, schools, school boards,
municipalities, or government departments, boards or tribunals
make decisions that directly affect an individual, business or
organization.
