Ted Mann to Star in Mozart's Don Giovanni

From January 26th to January 29th, our very own Ted Mann will be performing as the Commendatore in upcoming performances of Mozart's Don Giovanni. The performances will be taking place at the Alumni Auditorium on the University of Ottawa campus and tickets are $10.00.

Mann & Partners Sponsors Event to Support Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind

On August 21st, members of Mann & Partners, LLP attended the Re/Max Metro City Realty Ltd. golf tournament at Kanata Golf and Country Club. The tournament raised over $30,00 for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Mann & Partners is proud to have been a major sponsor of this event and looks forward to participating in next year's tournament.

Mann & Partners, LLP Supports the Ruby Ribbon Campaign

On September 15th, Daniella Sicoli-Zupo and Jason Peyman attended a cocktail in support of the Scotiabank Aids Walk for Life. The Ruby Ribbon Clubsupports seven Ottawa AIDS service organizations whose goal is to provide care and services for persons in need and to promote awareness so that people do not needlessly expose themselves to risk. Since 2001, the Ruby Ribbon Club has donated over $250,000 to the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Ottawa.

Dress for Success Clothing Drive September 29, 2011

Mann & Partners, LLP is proud to support "Dress for Success" through our firm's participation in an upcoming clothing drive on September 29, 2011 at the Courthouse at 161 Elgin Street. Our very own Heather Austin-Skaret and Mimi Marrello will be on hand to help collect donations of clothing for women trying to re-enter the work force.

Dress for Success is currently accepting Fall/Winter clothing donations. While they accept all donations as outlined on the attached list, they have an immediate and pressing demand and need for the following items:

Smaller sizes (sizes 0-6) (suits, pants, sweaters, tops)
Maternity clothing
Plus sized clothing
Winter coats appropriate for work (not ski jackets)
Winter dress boots
Unopened regular-sized personal products, e.g. make-up, shampoo, soap, deodorant, body wash. (Please no hotel-sized bottles)
Modern purses (in all colours), jewellery (necklaces, earrings) and accessories
- · Sturdy Shopping Bags with handles (e.g. Reusable Shopping bags)

Dress for Success asks that donated clothes be:

New or gently used—not in need of any mending
Modern styles from within the past 5 years
Clean
On hangers or in large shopping bags (PLEASE, NO GARBAGE BAGS!)

Andre Martin Attends Event to Support Young Adult Cancer Canada

On June 23, 2011, our very own Andre Martin attended a fundraiser for Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC). The evening was held in honour of Jasmine Singh, who created the fundraiser during her battle with cancer.
