Alexander Bissonnette, Lawyer
After articling with the firm and being called to the Bar, I am pleased to have been hired back in the Litigation Service Group. I look forward to assisting clients with a variety of litigation matters, including: commercial litigation, employment litigation and public procurement complaints. Additionally, I regularly represent clients in Small Claims Court disputes and residential Landlord and Tenant matters, including proceedings at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
I received my law degree in 2016 from the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University. During my time at Queen’s Law, I was actively involved with Queen’s Legal Aid, assisting students and Kingston residents with a variety of legal matters. Additionally, during law school, I participated in the Wilson Moot and also interned with the Law Branch of the Department of Finance in Ottawa.
Prior to attending law school, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration.
Outside of the office, I enjoy travelling, trivia and late night television. I am also an avid Blue Jays and Red Wings fan and enjoy watching a wide range of sports.
If there is anything I can assist with, please do not hesitate to contact me.
