I’m a corporate and commercial lawyer with a practice focused on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and a keen interest in tax planning and the tax aspects of business law. I advise a wide range of clients, including startups, family-owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and larger corporations.
I take pride in offering advice that is both technically sound and attuned to the practical realities my clients face. My goal is to be a strategic advisor—someone clients trust not only for legal guidance but also for commercially minded solutions that support growth, innovation, and sustainability in their business.
After completing my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at McMaster University, I graduated from the University of Ottawa – Faculty of Law in 2023. My path to business law was shaped by an early interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, which led me to becoming a founder of an AI-based SaaS company. The venture ultimately deepened my appreciation for the legal and business complexities that business owners face and must navigate.
In addition to my legal practice, I take the time to work with organizations that support startup companies, incubators as well as publishing legal journals, focusing on corporate and tax law, and the ways emerging technologies – such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing and other advanced tools – are transforming the legal field.
Outside the office, I am a self-taught musician and trained vocalist, with an appreciation for literature and philosophy, as well as community engagement. I am proud to be committed to working with the Ottawa community and organizations that support local children and youth facing systemic barriers, housing instability, or need mentorship.
