As a law student working over the summer at Mann Lawyers you will experience the opportunity to do great work, meet exceptional people and grow in a supportive culture that embraces diversity and respect.
Our law students gain hands on experience on both the solicitor and barrister sides of our practice. They are mentored by our General Counsel and Director of Practice Management, Scott McLean, and are encouraged to attend practice group meetings and bi-monthly meetings for the entire legal team.
We welcome our law students at firm social events throughout the summer, so they can get to know the Mann Lawyers team in an informal setting.
We recruit our articling students directly from our summer law student program and generally do not consider applications from those who have not participated in this program. So, if your long-term goal includes working at Mann Lawyers, the summer law student program is the place to start.

Application Process
The application deadline for 2025 is 11:59 pm on January 16. Applications can be submitted through the viRecruit portal. We ask that you include the following in your application:

Law firms do not ask students about their intention to accept an offer of employment prior to the call day start time of 8:00 a.m; and,
