I am a commercial lawyer specializing primarily in commercial and residential real estate acquisitions. I have represented individuals and corporate clients at a high volume residential real estate practice, including purchase, sale and refinance transactions. Prior to joining Mann Lawyers, I worked for a national law firm assisting a large corporate client, with presence all over Canada, to acquire various properties in Ontario and other provinces, be it commercial lots for future development, warehouses, retail buildings, or existing self-storage facilities. I am happy to be of service to the clients of Mann Lawyers real estate group, researching the title, conducting thorough due diligence and helping clients make an informed decision when purchasing commercial or residential real property.
I grew up in Russia but received my education in Israel. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Major in Psychology) from Tel-Aviv university and a law degree from University of Bar-Ilan. Before arriving in Canada in 2007, I practiced in Israel as a solicitor for a large construction company. In Canada I attended the law clerk intensive program at Algonquin College, where I received the Emond Montgomery award for highest GPA, and then worked as a paralegal for a number of years while completing my accreditation and Bar exams, gaining invaluable experience that allows me to be a “hands on” lawyer.
Outside of work, I love working on jigsaw puzzles (the old-fashioned paper kind). The largest I have completed thus far was five thousand pieces, albeit during the pandemic. I also enjoy going for a long walk when the weather is nice, and immersing myself in a science-fiction novel or watching a medical show with my two daughters when the weather is not so nice.
I can assist you in English, Russian or Hebrew. Please do not hesitate to reach out by email or phone if I can be of assistance.
