I am a lawyer with over 10 years experience specializing in estate planning, estate administration, trust creation and administration, as well as charitable giving strategies. I pride myself on providing excellent client service and an open and compassionate environment for deep client conversations. My strengths include implementing tax saving strategies in estate planning and using my extensive knowledge of estate law, charitable giving, insurance and tax strategies to create a customized plan for each individual, business, or family.
After graduating from the University of Ottawa Law School, I began my practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2014. While my love of the Maritimes will never die, I returned to my hometown of Ottawa in 2018 to be closer to family and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
Regardless of where I practice, I am passionate about using effective estate planning strategies to avoid family disputes. My goal is always to have every loved one possible still attending Thanksgiving dinner.
Outside of practice, I am a voracious reader and an enthusiastic gardener. I can also have an embarrassingly long conversation about Pokémon (or almost anything gaming related) thanks to my husband and step-son.
