I practice exclusively in civil litigation, where I focus on contract, construction and commercial disputes, as well as litigious estates, and employment disputes. I act for both plaintiffs and defendants and regularly appear before all levels of courts in Ontario, including the Superior Court and Divisional Court, as well as the Small Claims Court.

I take great pride in my ability to work collaboratively with clients in high-conflict circumstances and to think creatively about how to solve the matter at hand. My focus is on providing frank and practical advice to ensure issues are solved efficiently and effectively.  I am a people person through and through. Connecting with and helping clients through the (often daunting) litigation process is what I love most about my role.

After completing the summer student program and my articles with the firm, I am thrilled to be back at Mann Lawyers as an associate. I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree (with distinction) from Queen’s University (2018) and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa (2022). I was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2023.

While in law school, I was a member of the Legal Writing Academy as a legal writing leader. I was a student caseworker for the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic in the family law department. I also volunteered with the Ticket Defence Program, where we helped houseless and street-involved people defend against provincial offences. I enjoyed working with groups that improve access to justice within the Ottawa community and working with clients to solve their legal issues both diligently and compassionately.

While I now call Ottawa home, I grew up overseas and lived in several countries throughout my childhood, including Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Indonesia and Malaysia. I graduated from high school at the International School of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I try to return to Malaysia to visit my family and pets as much as possible. My hobbies include trying new food, learning to downhill ski (COVID past time turned current obsession) and spending as much time as possible swimming in lakes during the summer.
