I am an Articling Student at Mann Lawyers, returning to the firm after previously working as a Summer Student. I bring a multidisciplinary background and a strong interest in developing a well-rounded legal practice.
I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where I contributed to the Ottawa Law Review and completed a Technoship exploring the use of artificial intelligence in the legal industry. My research focused on comparing Canadian AI frameworks with international systems, offering a broader perspective on legal innovation and regulation.
Before pursuing post-secondary education, I worked for six years as a Real Estate Law Clerk in the Greater Toronto Area. During that time, I was involved in a wide range of residential transactions, including purchases, sales, and both private and institutional refinancing. I went on to complete an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a Minor in Public Relations and a Minor Human Resources. I also hold the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. With training across a variety of disciplines, I value a comprehensive approach to understanding legal issues that focuses on combining communication, critical thinking, and practical experience.
While I have a strong background in real estate, I look forward to working with clients across all of Mann Lawyers’ diverse practice areas.
Outside of law, I enjoy spending time in nature and finding moments of peace through outdoor activities. I’m currently working toward visiting every provincial park in Ontario, and especially enjoy hiking new trails, kayaking through winding rivers, and stopping for a bit of fishing along the way.
