I am a member of the Family Law group at Mann Lawyers. I am strong and passionate advocate for my clients and their interests. My experience in family law is multifaceted and includes, but not limited to, advising clients on property issues (including division), support matters, custody and access issues, domestic contracts, and foreign property valuations and implications. I have significant experience in all stages of family law litigation from meeting with clients and drafting pleadings through to the trial stage.
My approach to litigation and dispute resolution varies depending on the matter and the client’s situation, but I pride myself on being able to tailor my approach to the personal circumstances of the client and ensure that their interests are advanced and protected through each stage of the litigation process.
I have undergraduate degrees in Biology and Political Science from Western University and graduated with an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008. I articled with a prominent Ottawa Law Firm and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. I also have obtained an LL.M from the University of Ottawa Law School in 2012. I currently am a Board Member with the Olde Forge Community Resource Centre which is an organization designed to provide community supports to senior citizens and people with disabilities in the National Capital Region.
I understand that litigation, especially family law litigation, can be a difficult and uncomfortable experience, but I am committed to my clients in a manner that best supports them and their interests, including of course, by being accessible and keeping them regularly apprised with updates concerning their matter. If you require assistance with a family law matter please do not hesitate to contact me via telephone or email.
