I joined Mann Lawyers as a litigator in 2024. My practice involves various types of litigation matters, with a particular focus on estate matters ranging from uncontested guardianships to complex trust disputes. Over time, I have grown a passion for using the law as a tool to fight against inequity and various forms of exploitation, such as elder abuse.
In 2022, I completed the joint Juris Doctor and Masters of Arts program with the University of Ottawa and Carleton University’s Norman Patterson School of International Affairs. While articling, I worked on litigation matters in a wide variety of practice areas, completed a number of statutory compliance reviews, and assisted in conducting various third party investigations that focused mainly on the areas of sport, workplace, and professional liability. My articles also included a period working exclusively in estate litigation.
Throughout my postsecondary studies, I worked closely with vulnerable populations at the front line of the opioid epidemic. As a result, I thoroughly understand the importance of community engagement and access to justice, in addition to my robust experience in the private sector.
My competence in French allows me to assist with translating French documents and providing clients the opportunity to communicate in both official languages.
