I am the Practice Lead of the Commercial Litigation Group at Mann Lawyers. My practice is devoted exclusively to litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial disputes, construction and real estate-related disputes, and insolvency proceedings.
I represent businesses, shareholders, professionals, and individuals in a wide range of litigation matters. I regularly represent clients in contractual disputes, shareholder and oppression claims, franchise disputes, debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, construction matters, real estate disputes arising from commercial and residential transactions, commercial tenancy issues, procurement matters, and other commercial and business conflicts. I also act for parties in insolvency and restructuring matters, including receivership and CCAA proceedings.
I work closely with clients to develop practical, strategic, and cost-effective solutions to disputes and litigation matters. I regularly appear before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and represent clients through all stages of the litigation process, including motions, applications, discoveries, mediations, trials, and appeals.
In addition to my commercial litigation practice, I am also a member of Mann Lawyers’ Estate Litigation Group and I assist clients with estate-related disputes, including matters involving wills, powers of attorney, capacity issues, and guardianships.
I joined Mann Lawyers as a student, completed my articles with the firm, and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2017. Prior to that, I earned my law degree from Queen’s University Faculty of Law in 2016, where I was actively involved with Queen’s Legal Aid and assisted students and Kingston residents with a variety of legal issues. Prior to law school, I earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa.
Outside the office, I enjoy travelling, trivia, and following a wide variety of sports.
