Real Estate

Re-Financing Transactions

People refinance their homes for a variety of reasons, such as their mortgage term is about to expire, to fund home renovations, and to consolidate their debts.  You may use a mortgage broker to help find a lender, or you may contact a lender directly.  Once approved, you will typically need a lawyer to get the new mortgage registered.

Mann Lawyers can assist in the refinancing process by reviewing the new mortgage’s terms and conditions, preparing and registering the new mortgage, paying out any existing mortgage and directing mortgage funds to pay off other debts. We have extensive experience in dealing with institutional lenders (such as banks and trust companies), as well as private lenders.
