    Mark Fortier-Brynaert, Articling Student

I am thrilled to return home to Ottawa to work with the team at Mann Lawyers as an articling student. I look forward to learning from and assisting some of the best lawyers in their respective fields throughout my articles.

I obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2018. Prior to attending law school, I obtained a Master’s degree in Political Studies from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honours from Queen’s University.

In law school, I was actively involved with Western Law’s French Law Society and the Labour Law Society. In the summer of 2016, I interned at the Paris office of a Canadian International firm with the labour and employment law team. During the fall of 2017, I returned to France where I spent a semester abroad in Lyon at L’Université Jean Moulin III.

In my spare time, I try and take advantage of the outdoors. In the summers you can find me fishing and camping or playing golf or tennis, and in the winters playing hockey and skiing.
