Stephanie Simard, Lawyer
I am delighted to be part of the Real Estate and Family Law Service Group at Mann Lawyers.
J’offre mes services juridiques en français et en anglais dans les domaines de droit immobilier, droit de la famille et droit de la construction.
I take a personable and “hands on” approach with clients and their files, ensuring that their needs and concerns are fully addressed, while achieving the best results possible. As a real estate lawyer, I assist clients with refinances, private mortgages and loans, purchases and sales of homes, ensuring that clients have a positive experience. As a family lawyer, I represent clients pertaining to their divorce, separation, custody/access, child and spousal support, property issues and also assist clients in negotiating and drafting cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and separation agreements. I also represent clients in a range of construction matters which include drafting construction contracts, constructions liens and construction disputes.
I have appeared in matters before various courts and tribunals including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.
I am a graduate of the National Law Program at the University of Ottawa, having obtained both my Civil Law degree (LL.L) and Common Law degree (LL.B) in 2009. I was thereafter called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 after which I have gained extensive experience representing clients in real estate transactions, family law matters/litigation, construction law matters/litigation and civil litigation for nearly a decade.
Outside of my passion for law, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs, snowmobiling, cottaging and being an adventurous foodie. I also enjoy being actively involved in my community at any available opportunity.
Should you require any assistance in matters in Perth or in Ottawa, do not hesitate to call or email me.
